Hot glue is applied to a special tab and allowed to harden some. The tech will use another specialized tool to remove the glued tab. They will repeat this process until the dent has been fully removed.
If you are not trained to use these tools, do not be surprised if you remove paint from the vehicle when you try it at home. Also, emoving a dent can cause another part of a panel to collapse, leaving
you with another dent. Avoid these issues by bringing it to a professional in the first place.
